Tuna Shoot Out 2026 — Saturday, September 19, 2026, Hotel Playa del Sol, Calle 20 de Noviembre, Los Barriles (East Cape). Van Wormer Resorts’ official 2026 page: after combining with the wahoo tournament last year, this edition is framed as one target — heaviest tuna wins — with optional jackpots still offered for tuna, dorado, and wahoo. Entry $600 USD per team. First place: 150,000 MXN guaranteed. Optional tuna jackpots $300 / $500 / $1,000 USD; special dorado jackpot $300 USD; special wahoo jackpot $300 USD. In-person registration and welcome: Friday, September 18, 4:00–8:00 PM at Hotel Playa del Sol. Lines-out / weigh-in times for Saturday are not on that page.
