Los Cabos Children’s Foundation
Los Cabos Children’s Foundation is a civil society organization focused on improving health and wellness for children and adolescents in Baja California Sur, through financial and strategic support of other nonprofits and government institutions, as well as its own programs. Tagline: Changing the world, one child at a time. Site stats: 23 years; 103 programs supported; 121,225+ children and adolescents benefited; $25.7 million invested. 2025–2026 goals posted on the homepage: support 46 programs to reach 18,000 children and adolescents (municipal breakdown listed for La Paz, Los Cabos, Comondú, Loreto, Mulegé). Founded from Tom Walsh’s 2002 effort to help children with cancer in Los Cabos who had no in-state treatment; today they support continuity of care for cancer, heart defects, and other critical health issues, plus local orgs working on general health, disabilities, prevention, and mental health.
