Acre
Acre is celebrating National Dog Month at the farm restaurant and resort in Ánimas Bajas, San José del Cabo. On Taco Tuesdays in August the restaurant has featured a special Farm Dog Taco, with a portion of proceeds going to Acre Dogs, the on-site rescue and adoption program (active since 2017; more than 1,000 dogs adopted since 2019). Guests can visit adoptable dogs every day and walk them on the property. Acre’s animals page lists kennel visits 8:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. daily, no appointment needed; caretakers can provide a leash, and adoptions or volunteer flight escorts are arranged via acredogs.com.
